Build Process
How long does it take to build a house?
Once materials have arrived, the build process typically takes just 4-6 weeks. Construction takes place in our purpose-built factory. This controlled environment ensures quality and precision and means that we don’t get delayed by weather.

Customisation and Design
How do your homes differ from other prefab homes and conventional houses?
Rapid turnaround times, affordability, low maintenance, and customisable finishings are just a few of the reasons why Prestige is the best choice for your new home. Find out more here. Additionally, unlike most other prefab and conventional homes, we use steel-framing as it is robust and resilient, and allows for incredible build precision.
Can I make customisations?
Yes! We have existing 1 and 2 bedroom home designs with plenty of customisable fit and finish options, or we can build a fully bespoke home that is suited to your property and your needs.
Materials and Quality
What materials do you use?
We use steel-framing for our homes as steel is robust, resilient and allows for incredible build precision. On top of this, it is a recyclable product and minimises construction waste.
Delivery and Transport
Is transport included in the pricing?
Transport is not included in our pricing as it will vary based on the size of the unit and its destination. We can provide recommendations for transport companies depending on where you are located.
Where do you deliver?
We are based in Hawke’s Bay but can deliver anywhere on the North Island.
Payments and Financing
Do you offer financing?
We don’t offer financing, however, we would highly recommend getting in touch with Geemas at The Finance Team who will be able to find the right solution and lending to meet your needs:

How are payments structured?
A 50% deposit is required on signing of the contract. The next payment of 40% is due once the house build is completed. The final 10% is due once the house has been delivered and is on piles.
Permits and Warranties
Do you organise the building consents?
Yes, we take care of the building consent for you.
Do you offer a warranty?
We offer a 10 year builder warranty on our builds.
Additional Services
Do you take care of the on-site work like decking, hook-ups etc.?
This is not part of our standard offering, however we do have the ability to do on-site work if we have an opening in our team’s schedule. If this is something you need, let’s chat!
